  • Woodland Park, NJ Job Summary Garden Communities, a large and well-established real estate development and property management company, is seeking an experienced Property Manager for Rose Manor , a large residential community located in Woodland Park, NJ.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, hands-on property management professional with experience overseeing large residential communities of 700+ units . The ideal candidate will be a confident leader who can manage daily operations, supervise onsite staff, maintain high resident satisfaction, and ensure the property operates efficiently and professionally. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable managing a fast-paced residential community with multiple priorities, staff members, residents, vendors, inspections, and operational needs. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Oversee the day-to-day operations of a large residential apartment community Manage and support onsite office, leasing, maintenance, and property staff Supervise, coach, and develop employees while maintaining accountability and performance standards Handle employee relations matters, including coaching, attendance, performance concerns, and staff follow-up Maintain strong resident relations and respond to resident concerns in a professional and timely manner Walk the property, buildings, grounds, and vacant units regularly to assess operational needs Coordinate with maintenance teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure work is completed properly and timely Oversee unit turns, make-readies, move-outs, inspections, and general property readiness Schedule and attend required inspections Review, approve, and code bills appropriately Complete and analyze weekly and monthly reports Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, Fair Housing requirements, and applicable laws Support community communication and resident satisfaction initiatives Respond to emergencies and be available for occasional weekends or on-call needs when required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of property management experience required Experience managing a large residential community of 700+ units strongly preferred Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required Experience supervising 10 or more employees strongly preferred Strong leadership, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Excellent resident relations and customer service skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred due to regular communication with Spanish-speaking staff Proficiency with Microsoft Office required Yardi experience preferred Strong working knowledge of building systems, maintenance operations, unit turns, and property inspections strongly preferred Must be reliable, professional, and able to work fully onsite Pay and Benefits Salary range: $75,000
  • $100,000 per year Higher compensation may be considered based on large property management experience, supervisory background, Yardi experience, bilingual skills, and overall qualifications Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Schedule Full-time In-person position Must be available for emergencies, occasional weekends, or on-call needs as required
