As a subsidiary of Rural Neighborhoods, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on housing and community development, we are committed to building vibrant communities and ensuring access to safe, quality housing.Job Responsibilities :
Manage day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations. Oversee leasing processes, including marketing vacant units, screening tenants, and executing lease agreements. Maintain accurate records for tenant files, rent collection, and property expenses. Meets with residents regularly to address any rent delinquencies or resolve issues related to a resident's occupancy. Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards. Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, staff, and community stakeholders. Oversees the maintenance and physical operation of the property through the utilization of the Maintenance Supervisor and staff. Perform regular, physical inspections of the property including vacant and "make ready" apartments, and follows up with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that work has been completed to company standards Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and ongoing maintenance. Qualifications Minimum three years' property management experience required. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and preferably RealPage OneSite Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment. Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred. College Degree preferred, High school diploma or GED required.
