Ensure the administration of UMH provider employment agreements and compensation models occur in a consistent, timely and compliant manner. Responsible for the production and analysis of complex reports of descriptive and analytic data in support of strategic and operational decision making and continuous quality improvement for University of Michigan Health. Conducts comprehensive data and trend analysis using the appropriate data sources and statistical and mathematical models. Presents results in written visual and/or oral form to a variety of audiences including administration and clinical staff. Additional responsibilities include management of the annual budgeting process, assistance with the month-end and annual financial close process, system application management, and coordinating projects within Fiscal Services. This position utilizes financial and statistical tools and techniques and requires a high level of personal computer skills, and interpersonal relationships with health system leadership. Works independently on small projects and assists with medium/large projects as needed. Frequently seeks direction from other more experienced Analysts or Manager. Basic Function and Responsibilities Develop dashboards and reporting tools that highlight trends in compensation, and market competitiveness Update internal tools as new market data and relevant information is available Maintain compensation systems, and data integrity in partnership with IT and HR operations Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, calculations, and compensation rationale Calculate provider compensation amounts for submission to payroll Prepare recurring compensation reports summarizing RVUs, productivity, quality metrics, and incentive performance Maintain documentation for compensation methodologies, calculations, and audit trails Support system enhancements for compensation tools and analytics platforms Monitor trends in provider productivity and identify variances or anomalies Review employment agreements as requested Support meeting functions and generate ad hoc reports as requested Job Requirements General Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a union environment, preferred Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, human resources, healthcare administration or related field.
and a minimum of 1 year of relevant HR or financial analyst experience OR Associates degree in business administration, or related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant HR or financial analyst experience, of which 1 must be in compensation, provider compensation or payroll OR High school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of relevant HR or financial analyst experience, of which 2 must be in compensation, provider compensation or payroll.
