Job Description

The PRT Monitor provides supervision and guidance to residents of the treatment program during the evening/night hours. Must be available for weekends and holidays as needed. Must be able to identify and work with the American Indian community at large and relate to their needs under our program activities. Upload your tribal Membership card, if claiming Osage or Native American preference Answer all questions Any information given may be verified You must sign/acknowledge your application to be considered for this position Osage preference does apply Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs General Qualifications Associate's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Sociology or related field preferred At least one (1) year of experience working in a substance abuse facility, domestic violence shelter or behavioral health program preferred Must have a caring attitude and understanding of the problems of substance addiction and domestic violence, required Must be able to deal with potentially hostile and/or uncooperative individuals, required Must be able to handle stress and remain calm in crisis situations, required Must be flexible in shift availability, required Must be able to maintain confidential information regarding residents, required Must be CPR certified within the first 90 days, required Must be HIPAA and Privacy Act trained within the first 30 days, required Must have MAT training within the first 12 months, required Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics Requires a high level of problem solving skills Requires a moderate level of technical writing skills Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions Requires good interpersonal communication and team work skills Must be able to pass a criminal background check Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record - may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles
