Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide expert psychiatric care to diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Your expertise will help individuals manage mental health conditions through comprehensive assessments, medication management, and psychotherapy. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working with a team of 3 midlevel clinicians. Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients across various age groups and clinical settings. Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and behavioral interventions. Manage medical documentation accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring detailed records of patient history, treatment plans, and progress notes. Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups, adjusting medications or therapies as needed to optimize outcomes. Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with advancements in psychiatry and mental health practices. Requirements Medical degree with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry. Proven experience working with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in inpatient or outpatient settings while in residency or mental health center. Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications (psychopharmacology), diagnostic evaluation techniques, and mental health counseling strategies. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and intake procedures. Telehealth experience is considered an asset to support flexible patient access; familiarity with HIPAA compliance is essential. Excellent crisis management skills combined with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and compassionately.
