Duties Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to keep spaces pristine and inviting Maintain floor care through proper techniques such as polishing and buffing to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal Conduct routine janitorial tasks with attention to detail in restrooms, seating areas, walkways, and entrances Support hospitality efforts by assisting visitors with directions or information when needed Manage custodial supplies inventory and ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored Collaborate with team members to execute industrial cleaning projects during off-peak hours for minimal disruption Uphold health and safety standards by adhering to cleaning protocols and reporting any maintenance issues promptly Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a busy environment such as hotels, public facilities, or commercial spaces is highly desirable Experience with floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, and buffing Background in hospitality or housekeeping management provides valuable insight into customer service standards Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies enhances efficiency in daily tasks Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in maintaining cleanliness standards Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage is preferred This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in active environments and are passionate about creating welcoming spaces for the community.
