Duties Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, dump trucks, to perform construction, and paving tasks efficiently. Assist with construction site activities such as site preparation, utility locating, and infrastructure repairs to ensure projects progress smoothly. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work sites to maintain safety standards and operational efficiency. Support paving operations by preparing surfaces, spreading materials, and ensuring proper compaction for durable roadways. Collaborate with team members to coordinate the use of various machinery and tools for large-scale public works projects ie. sidewalks and fencing. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, project progress, and safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulations. Respond promptly to on-site issues or emergencies to uphold safety protocols and project timelines. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, dump trucks, and front loader trucks in a construction or public works setting. Knowledge of utility locating techniques and familiarity with construction site safety procedures. Strong understanding of construction processes including paving, excavation, grading, and infrastructure repair. Ability to operate equipment or similar heavy machinery with precision and care. Prior experience working on public works projects or municipal infrastructure is highly desirable. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards safety and efficiency. Pay:

$16.50 - $22.80 per hour
