• Full-time We are currently looking for a Marine Manufacturing Purchasing Agent for a busy boat manufacturer.

This position will work directly with the Office Manager, Production Manager, and Director of Operations to ensure production orders are made in a timely manner.

Duties include:

• Communicating with vendors regarding parts availability and lead times
• Place orders in accordance with the production schedule deadlines
• Keep inventory pricing current and items stocked for upcoming builds
• Update weekly reports on inventory status per job with the Office Manager
• Tracking of POs and miscellaneous special projects as needed
• Bi-weekly meetings with the production team to discuss status of builds
• Development and editing of drawings for production parts orders using Microsoft PowerPoint (aluminum, cushions, layouts, etc.)
• Opportunities for professional growth and cross-training in additional areas

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing and/or purchasing support capacity required
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Marine Manufacturing/Boating experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, and Smartsheet preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, and as part of a team

Pay:

$20.00
