The Purchasing and Property Coordinator is responsible for determining appropriate procurement methods based on bid requirements, scope of work, WOU procurement policies, applicable laws governing the purchase of commodities and services, public works contracts, and state price agreements. The position obtains and evaluates competitive bids to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements. In addition, this role oversees Stores operations and inventory control; coordinates with vendors; tracks shipments; resolves purchasing and invoicing issues; and reconciles invoices. The coordinator also supports Facilities Services with property management and the work order system, and assists the Finance and Operations Manager with financial processes, including invoices, journal vouchers, and related accounting activities. This position is also responsible for managing service contracts and overseeing purchasing activities related to Capital Projects.
