Purchasing Assistant - Part-Time (32 hours per week)

Job Description Summary:

Receives stores, and issues materials, supplies, and equipment; takes inventories and compiles stock records in the hospital purchasing stock room. Unpacks shipments received; inspects items for damage or defects; verifies shipment accuracy; and conveys them to the storage area. Fills requisitions from stock and delivers to the requesting department or, in extenuating circumstances, leaves on a cart for the department to retrieve. Qualifications High School Degree or equivalent. Two to three years of general experience, stocking and purchasing. Strong numbers and calculation skills required. Ability to execute multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Able to interact with a variety of individuals and situations competently, effectively, and courteously. Must be computer literate.

Shift:

(32 Hours per Week) Benefit-Eligible Position! Day Shift - 8 Hours (M-F)
