Purchasing Manager

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods essential to our technical service operation. This role requires a strong understanding of technology hardware s it applies to business IT needs, along with expertise in procurement management, inventory control, and logistics. The Purchasing Manager will play a vital role in optimizing supply chain performance, reducing costs, and maintaining high standards of supplier management and contract compliance. Duties Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, including sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation. Create quotes for client purchases and manage procurement cycle for orders and deliveries. Manage end-to-end purchasing processes to ensure timely procurement of materials and services. Inventory management, inventory control, and supply chain activities to optimize stock levels and reduce waste. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to secure favorable agreements while maintaining quality standards. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information for audit purposes. Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline supply chain operations, including shipping schedules, delivery timelines, and transportation costs. Lead continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks. Experience Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar procurement leadership role within manufacturing or supply chain environments. Strong background in procurement management, sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and vendor management. Excellent communication skills combined with strong analytical abilities to make data-driven decisions. Experience working within an Information Technology setting with a focus on inventory control and supply chain efficiency is highly desirable.
