Job Summary The Quality Assurance/Quality Control position is responsible for ensuring that the assigned construction project is being completed per customer construction specifications. This person must be able to provide specialized instruction in support of the quality program, including specialized inspection, testing techniques, quality training, audits, and quality tools for problem-solving and assessment. Responsibilities Complete inspection reports stating the conditions of a work area to ensure requirements are met. Make recommendations for corrective action. Apply knowledge of quality systems and tools to validate. Verify contract requirement standards for project execution. May need to be reworded by removing contract and replace with customer specifications Implement principles of performance evaluation; prediction methods are used to improve product systems safety, reliability, and maintainability. Complete documentation necessary to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities. Under strict supervision, develop skills and knowledge to determine degree of conformance of products to specifications. Perform other duties as required and/or assigned. Qualifications High school diploma, or equivalent. 1 year of verifiable QA/QC experience in therelevant industry. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams for project build process. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and on-call, as needed. Preferred 2 or more years of verifiable QA/QC experience in therelevant industry. Certifications through National or International professional associations. 5 years of related experience. Physical Demands and Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and scanners. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This position is primarily sedentary, with some filing or lifting required. Must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
