Job Title:
QC LIMS Specialist Make an Impact at the Intersection of Science & Technology Are you a lab professional who thrives on both data integrity and system optimization ? We're looking for a QC LIMS Specialist who is passionate about improving laboratory operations through technology, ensuring high-quality data, and driving efficiency across critical workflows. In this role, you'll be a key contributor supporting LIMS functionality, system integrations, and reporting , while working closely with lab leadership to enhance how data is captured, analyzed, and delivered. What You'll Be Doing Be a subject matter resource for LIMS , ensuring system performance, accuracy, and reliability Support and optimize laboratory workflows , ensuring compliance with QC and regulatory standards Maintain and enhance LIMS integrations and instrument interfaces Design and improve SQL Server databases to support lab operations and reporting Create impactful reports and dashboards using Crystal Reports and/or Microsoft Access Develop custom Electronic Data Deliverables (EDD) in Excel, CSV, and tab-delimited formats Troubleshoot and maintain Access/VBA applications used across the lab Partner with lab teams to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and data visibility Support overall system infrastructure and configuration within the lab environment What You Bring Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related field 2+ years of hands-on experience with Clinisys Element LIMS (v6 or v7) Experience working in a QC, analytical, or environmental laboratory setting Strong technical skills, including: SQL Server (queries, development, maintenance) Reporting tools (Crystal Reports, Access) VBA troubleshooting and support A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for data accuracy and process improvement Nice to Have Experience in an Environmental Lab (RCRA knowledge is a plus) Background in Quality Control, R D, or regulated lab environments Familiarity with regulatory reporting and compliance standards Why You'll Love This Role Play a critical role in ensuring high-quality scientific data and compliance Work at the intersection of lab science and technology systems Gain exposure to LIMS optimization, data reporting, and system integrations Join a collaborative, mission-driven lab team focused on continuous improvement Opportunity to directly impact efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making in the lab Additional Details 100% on-site role in a laboratory environment Reports directly to Lab Leadership W2 position (no C2C) Sponsorship not available Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $58.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
