Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Technician to support daily quality control activities across manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for inspecting materials, performing routine quality checks, maintaining documentation, and ensuring products meet established specifications and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, follows procedures closely, and is proactive in identifying quality concerns before they become larger issues.
Position Type:
Full-Time - Multiple Shifts Available We are currently hiring for both:
Day Shift:
Standard daytime manufacturing and quality operations support
Night Shift:
Evening/overnight manufacturing and quality operations support Shift schedules, hours, and compensation differentials (if applicable) will be discussed during the interview process. Responsibilities Perform routine quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products Conduct measurements, checks, and testing according to SOPs and specifications Complete and maintain accurate quality records, logs, and controlled documentation Review batch records and manufacturing paperwork for completeness and accuracy Assist with environmental monitoring, sanitation verification, and production audits as needed Identify nonconformances and escalate quality issues promptly Support investigations, CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and root cause analysis Verify label accuracy, packaging specifications, and lot traceability Assist with inventory checks and raw material verification Support implementation and adherence to GMPs and internal quality systems Participate in SOP updates and continuous improvement initiatives Work closely with production teams to maintain efficient operations without compromising quality
Qualifications Required :
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in science, manufacturing, quality, or related field preferred) 1+ years experience in quality control, manufacturing, laboratory, food production, supplements, tobacco/nicotine products, pharmaceuticals, or regulated environments preferred Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Ability to follow SOPs and work independently Comfortable using spreadsheets, digital forms, and quality systems Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing setting
Preferred:
Experience with GMP, FDA, NSF, ISO, or other regulated environments Experience reviewing batch records or manufacturing documentation Familiarity with audits and compliance requirements Knowledge of quality systems and corrective actions What We're Looking For Organized and dependable Strong sense of ownership Comfortable speaking up when something doesn't look right Team player who thrives in fast-paced environments Interested in growing with an expanding company Why Join JD Quality Pouches?
