Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Therapist/Qualified Mental Health Professional will provide direct therapeutic services to youth and families, including individual and group mental health services, and crisis intervention. This position will also work closely with the program team to develop treatment plans, provide mental health assessments, and offer support and guidance to participants. The Therapist/Qualified Mental Health Professional will collaborate with the Mental Health Professional, Recovery Support Specialists and Family Support Specialists to provide direct services to clients, create treatment plans, and cultivation of partnerships with key community partners.Salary:

Network 9 ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
Facilitates individual therapy sessions and/or family therapy sessions. Develop and facilitate groups designed to support and educate youth. Administers and interprets assessment instruments. Develops treatment plan for youth/ families engaged in treatment. Participates in regular multidisciplinary team meetings. Creates appropriate referrals for youth and families psychological and psychosocial needs and follows-up to identify if services were accessed. Participates in clinical supervision weekly. Completes intakes, verifies insurance, and manages billing. Monitor programmatic goals and outcomes continually adapting to meet or exceed them. Responsible for the timely submission of Medicaid mental health billing Maintains service records, database, and statistics. Ensures that all documentation is accurate and upholds Trinity Services' mission, values, and operational needs Perform other duties as assignedSKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural competency, and experience with diverse populations Knowledge of the techniques and principles of child and family development, family systems theory, individual, family, behavioral therapy (ACT, DBT), and crisis focused interventions Strongly self-motivated Strong communication, leadership, and counseling skills Teaching skills, non-judgmental personality, and empathic listening skills Ability and knowledge of basic computer programs for service documentation and report writingPHYSICAL DEMANDS
Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods Operate motor vehicles While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment Physical activities that could be used include: driving, balancing, pulling, pushing, standing, climbing, grasping, stooping, crouching, crawling, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motion.QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Clinical license (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT) preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health experience, preferably with youth and families. Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and adolescent mental health. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals. Must have a valid driver's license in the state of Illinois Attend initial and ongoing required training (provided on site)BENEFITS
