Job Description

Function:
To monitor the program's Compliance and Quality Systems.
Responsibilities:
Maintains an accurate secure electronic filing system for training and incident-related documents; Identifies gaps in efficiency, risks, and issues regarding quality of service; Assists in establishing methods to improve efficiency, reduce risks, address quality of services issues, and to reduce the vulnerability of fraud, abuse and waste; Prepares monthly staff training materials and schedules trainings through the Elizabeth M. Boggs Center via Rutgers University, the Olmstead Resource Team, etc. Complete timely reports and submit documentation as needed to mandated entities both internal and external; Enrolls, terminates, and assigns employees via the College of Direct Support, including the implementation of a follow-up flagging system; Monitor accuracy of training participation and documentation requirements for program; Ensures each program is in compliance with training and licensing requirements by both the Department of Children and Families (DCF) with contracts such as Individual Support Services (ISS), Intensive In-Home Support (IIHS), Respite Services, and Summer Camp, as well as programs via the Department of Human Services (DHS) such as the Supports Program; Provide necessary training information and documents during Council on Accreditation for Disability Support Services; Reviews and revises initial incident reports generated by the agency's programs for clarity, consistency, and completeness; Ensures initial incident reports and follow-up reports are completed and submitted to the responsible entity in a timely manner; Conducts and records internal investigations when warranted by the agency, Critical Incident Management Unit (CIMU), and/or Office of Investigations (OI); Monitors completion of corrective actions resulting from investigations, audits, etc. Implements written policies and procedures put forth by the Disability Support Services program; and Other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one (1) year relevant office experience Strong computer skills, particularly with
Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Preferred:
BA degree in Social Services or related field Strong problem solving, organizational skills, and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills and Must cooperate with the licensee, Department of Human Services (DHS) staff, Department of Children and Families (DCF) staff and any and all state representatives in any inspection or investigation We're an equal opportunity employer.
