Job Description

G & W Products is a leader in contract metal manufacturing and fabrication. Founded in 1968, our areas of expertise include metal stamping, laser cutting, fabrication, manual and robotic welding, tool and die work, and assembly. Our modern facilities include 190,000 square feet of manufacturing space between three facilities located in Fairfield, OH. We specialize in numerous industries including construction, transportation, energy, and defense. We have an opening for a Quality Assurance Coordinator position.
Functions:
Accurately document inspection results, defects, and non-conformances in quality systems. Enter and manage data efficiently within ERP or quality management systems. Operate measuring and test equipment as needed. Assist with preparation of quality reports, summaries, and audit documentation. Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality-related issues. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards, procedures, and legal regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of two years' experience in quality inspection is preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is desirable. Skilled in the use of handheld measuring equipment is advantageous. Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent typing speed and accuracy (40-60+ WPM preferred). Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills. Competent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong attendance record. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
