Quality Assurance Manager Education:

4-yr degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

Experience:

Quality Assurance Manager with prior Aerospace experience (comparable industry: Automotive Manufacturing). Prior experience as Point of Contact for maintain AS9100 certification is a plus; Prior experience as a People Leader or Client facing role as a key liaison between internal teams, customers, and/or regulatory agencies.

Work Schedule:

Mon-Fri 7am-4pm Candidate Qualifying Questions Walk me through a time you inherited a fragmented QMS. How did you assess gaps, prioritize updates (work instructions, inspection procedures, quality plans), and prove effectiveness to auditors and customers within one program increment? Tell me about a critical escape or high-severity defect that reached a customer. How did you run triage, own the communication, quantify COPQ, and lead cross-functional resolution that restored customer confidence? Quality leadership often requires influencing teams that don't report to you. Can you share an example where you had to drive compliance or corrective actions across other departments? How did you gain buy-in?
