This is a 4-month contract on W2. Onsite in North Reading, MA, local candidate only. No sponsorships or C2C available. We are seeking a talent Quality Assurance Engineer/ tech for a contract position. The position will be will be part of the Hardware Test Engineering team focused on the next generation robotic system design . You will work with hardware development, program management, and other hardware test team members. The ideal candidate will draw upon previous electrical experience, critical thinking, and problem solving skills to enhance test execution capabilities. Key Responsibilities Working with other Test Engineers, Hardware and Software developers regarding tools and techniques required for testing. Maintain fixture uptime of existing fixtures Troubleshoot electrical and control issues Develop test subsystems and documentation Execute tests and acquire test data Required Qualifications Read and understand electrical schematics Ability to assemble electro-mechanical fixtures Ability to perform board re-works, based on schematics Board-level soldering experience Experience with cable assembly and bring up AS or BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience 0-2 years industry experience testing hardware Experience using standard electrical bench test instruments Understand and execute documented test procedures Collect test data, document test artifacts and conditions Troubleshoot electronic devices under test Proficiency working in a Linux/Unix environment, and executing simple scripts ???????Clear written and verbal communication for Test Engineers and external stakeholders
