Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Technician to support daily quality control operations. This role is responsible for testing, inspecting, and documenting product quality to ensure all materials meet required specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quality-related functions including testing, inspections (internal and external), reporting, setups, and filing Cut, prepare, and inspect samples from rolled products for dimensions, weight, and overall workmanship Operate and maintain tensile testing machines and bending test equipment to verify product specifications Identify and report non-conforming materials or deviations to the supervisor Utilize hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and testing equipment Accurately enter test results and inventory data into computer systems Maintain a clean and organized work area, including daily housekeeping tasks
Qualifications & Skills:
Ability to read and use measuring instruments accurately Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Strong attendance, reliability, and flexibility to meet business needs Effective communication skills Ability to perform physical job duties including climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Additional Requirements:
Steel toe boots required for work on the production floor All other personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided
