What You'll Do Lead all department personnel in a professional manner toward achieving company performance goals with emphasis on safety, quality, and meeting all company standards Leading effective crew meetings at start of shift. Include any safety, quality or production communications applicable. Assign daily work assignments to maximize operations Enter inventory control data into SAP Coordinate the loading of trucks and railcars Communicate with truck drivers through computer software, cell phones or two way radios Work with managers and employees to identify root cause of customer complaints and implement corrective actions Perform performance evaluations, create individual development plans and assign tasks to the most appropriate team members Assist in performing inventory on material Participate in CMC Safety culture and training on a regular basis. What You'll Need 3 years experience with inventory control in warehouse or manufacturing environment Strong customer facing skills with ability to build effective relationships across the business required High integrity and confidentiality required Develop good teamwork relations within the crew, crew to crew, with our internal customers, and with Maintenance and Operations Ability to properly use scanner equipment to scan material into inventory and onto shipments Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all weather conditions Proficient in MS Office programs - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and a quick learner of specialized business systems (SAP).
