This hands-on role is responsible for inspecting materials, parts, and finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to identify defects or inconsistencies, and experience working in a fast-paced industrial setting. This role is ideal for a dependable, safety-conscious individual who takes pride in maintaining high-quality standards and supporting efficient production operations. Key Responsibilities Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools and inspection equipment. Identify, document, and report defects, inconsistencies, or non-conforming materials promptly. Maintain accurate quality inspection records and production documentation. Collaborate with production and machine operators to resolve quality-related issues and improve processes. Follow established quality control procedures, safety policies, and company standards at all times. Assist with routine audits, quality checks, and process verification throughout production runs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Skills & Experience Minimum 1 year of quality control or inspection experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred). 1+ year of warehouse or production floor experience (preferred). Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers (preferred). Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies accurately. Ability to read and follow work orders, specifications, and production instructions. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work efficiently in a repetitive, fast-paced industrial environment. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in metal manufacturing or industrial production environments. Knowledge of quality control standards, inspection procedures, and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety practices. Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious with a strong work ethic. Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive inspection tasks. Basic computer and documentation skills for maintaining inspection records and reports. Work Environment Positions available on 2nd shift . Industrial warehouse setting with active machinery and moderate to high noise levels. Fast-paced environment requiring standing, walking, and manual handling for the duration of the shift. Exposure to metalworking machinery, equipment, and other industrial hazards. Employees must follow all safety procedures and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Pay:
$17.50 - $18.00 per hour
