Quality Control Supervisor

Job Duties:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Oversee all quality control functions for ready-mix concrete production, including plant and field operations. Develop, maintain, and optimize concrete mix designs to meet performance, specification, and cost requirements. Ensure compliance with ASTM, ACI, DOT, and local/state specifications and standards. Manage testing of raw materials, fresh concrete, and hardened concrete (slump, air, unit weight, cylinders, cores, etc.) Supervise, train, and evaluate QC technicians. Implement and enforce quality control procedures, policies, and documentation. Work closely with operations, bath personnel, sales, and dispatch to maintain consistency and resolve production issues. Promote and enforce safety policies and best practices within QC and laboratory operations.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Materials Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience) Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in ready-mix concrete quality control or materials testing. Strong working knowledge of ASTM, ACI, and DOT concrete standards and testing procedures. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to plants and job sites. Pay:

$70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
