Job Description

We are a world-class supplier of fabricated metal products and supply chain solutions to the OEM, transportation, agricultural, heavy construction, and electronics industries. With two locations in
North America:
Winnipeg MB and Valley City, ND. Malach Metal is a growing company, and we are looking to expand our team in Valley City, ND with a Quality Control Technician.
Position requirements:
Minimum of two to three years of previous related experience High School Diploma or equivalent general education Experience with measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, protractors, etc.) Strong mathematical and analytical skills Able to read and interpret blueprints and customer drawings as required for inspection Working knowledge of computers and common software programs (Email, Microsoft Office Suite) and the ability to learn and use ERP and specialized software Understanding of basic manufacturing processes (press brakes, welding, paint, assembly, laser cutting) Ability to work with other personnel to resolve quality issues Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform various types of visual and dimensional inspections of parts and weldments through the manufacturing process using precision measuring tools and make determination if products are up to specifications Prepare detailed records and documentation of all inspections, and the time taken on reporting tools, noting any deviations or defects to ensure traceability Document all Internal and External non-conformances Perform calibration on measuring tools and equipment Assist in the creation of work instructions and process improvements Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions steps for assigned issues Performing data entry as required Other duties and projects as assigned
