Quality Engineer

Overview The Quality Engineer will support the development and implementation of Quality Management System policies and procedures, aligned with

ISO 9001

requirements. As a Quality representative will provide technical support at incoming and outgoing. Initiate Supplier Corrective Action Report (SCAR) and work with suppliers in defining and agreeing to corrective actions. Responsibilities Provide training and support the organization regarding the quality system, quality tools and related topics. Support manufacturing floor on issues related to cable, harness and power box assembly. Interface with customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality and generate customer required documents i.e. First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) and responding to customer inquiries. Ensure that manufacturing process conforms with ISO 9001, internal and customer requirements. Perform internal audits and support ISO 9001 and customer audits. Report all non-conforming issues to Quality Manager to ensure timely action. Work with other departments in creating or updating work instructions and procedures; create and review documents as necessary. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Good communication and interpersonal skills Internal audit training/experiences required. Diverse knowledge of inspection control methods, techniques, and documentation. In depth knowledge of ISO quality systems, policies, and procedures. ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, or CRE) is a plus Experience/Education Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
