Lead PPAP and prototype submissions, including documentation of dimensional and material test results to meet customer requirements. Own incoming raw material quality—review certifications, perform inspections, and release materials for production. Investigate supplier quality issues, driving corrective actions, RMAs, and continuous improvement with suppliers. Perform laboratory testing on products and raw materials following customer and internal specifications. Support customer complaint resolution by coordinating containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Drive internal quality systems including layered audits, dock audits, and compliance with customer-specific requirements. Analyze scrap and nonconformance data to identify trends, reduce costs, and lead improvement initiatives across the plant.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Technology, or related field. 3+ years of experience in manufacturing quality (automotive, metal fabrication, injection molding, or similar environments preferred). Strong knowledge of PPAP, SPC, GD&T, MSA, andISO/IATF
standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test procedures. Experience with quality tools and systems (Excel, Minitab, Gage Track, SAP or similar ERP systems). Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Willingness to travel as needed to support supplier or customer quality needs.
