Job Description
The Impact You'll Make Now is a great time to join our Danfoss Power Solutions Team in Shawnee! We are seeking to hire an experience Quality Engineer who will provide technical support to various programs intended to assure the quality of the assembly processes to our customers and to resolve all customer quality concerns. What You'll Be Doing Manages a team of quality auditors Provides liaison with other areas such as product engineering, manufacturing engineering, production, customer and supplier representatives in the resolution of quality concerns. Participate in PFEMEA and CP reviews. Support Change process (risk assessment) related to manufacturing processes. Uses Six Sigma methodology to reduce process variations. Support 8D problem solving for internal NCs. Works with quality technicians, process engineers, and other staff to implement quality enhancements to products and processes. Initiate waivers and Global stop order process. Conduct MPA and PA actual to audit plan. Participate in COPQ and FPY optimizations. Participate in Operations board meetings. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer or related experience in a production manufacturing environment Experience leading and managing a team, providing guidance, training and support. Preferred qualifications Certification in ISO 9001 and
IATF 16949
Hydraulic product knowledge Knowledgeable of PPAP processes and quality tools (e.g. SPC, FMEA, Control plans, DOE, QFD, Gage R&R, Kaizen, Poke-Yoke techniques & change management) Experience with Team Center and SAP What You'll Get from Us We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
