Onsite Position Overview We are seeking a Quality Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing environments to support both supplier quality and production quality activities. This role will be evenly split between supplier-facing quality initiatives and internal manufacturing quality support. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with PPAP processes, automotive quality systems, and core quality tools within an IATF-regulated environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on quality professional who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing settings and enjoys working cross-functionally with suppliers, engineering, and production teams. Key Responsibilities Quality & Manufacturing Support Support supplier quality and production quality activities within an automotive manufacturing environment Lead and manage all phases of the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) Conduct and support PFMEA and MSA activities Utilize metrology equipment and measurement techniques to support inspections, validation, and quality investigations Partner with suppliers, manufacturing, and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality concerns Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Ensure compliance with IATF standards and customer-specific quality requirements Participate in continuous improvement and quality enhancement initiatives across operations Required Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in automotive quality engineering environments Hands-on experience managing all phases of PPAP Experience with PFMEA, MSA, and core automotive quality tools Working knowledge of IATF quality standards Strong metrology and measurement experience Experience supporting both supplier quality and production quality functions Bachelor's degree in Engineering required Preferred Engineering Disciplines Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Preferred Qualifications ASQ CQE certification Internal or external auditing experience Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work effectively in cross-functional manufacturing environments Work Environment Fully onsite position located in Bloomfield, CT 4-6 month contract assignment with potential for extension Collaborative manufacturing and engineering environment EOE (including Disability/Veterans) #HRUProfessional Apply for this job
