VP - Omnia & Business Operations Role Summary The Quality Engineering Manager is responsible for driving meaningful improvements in product quality, process stability, and operational discipline across the manufacturing floor and overall organization. This role bridges quality assurance and operational improvement by identifying root causes of defects, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring standardized processes are created, in place, and followed consistently. The position is highly hands-on and requires significant time on the production floor working directly with operators, technicians, engineers, and leadership to eliminate scrap, reduce variation, and strengthen process control. Success in this role is measured by improvements in scrap reduction, process capability, corrective action effectiveness, and operational adherence to defined procedures. Key Responsibilities Root Cause & Corrective Action Lead investigations into scrap, defects, and process deviations Perform structured root cause analysis Implement and track corrective and preventive actions Verify corrective actions are effective and sustained Production Floor Process Control Conduct routine process audits on molding, assembly, and secondary operations Ensure operators and technicians are following standard work and setup procedures Identify process variation and escalate issues quickly Work closely with technicians to stabilize molding processes Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, cycle time, and process variability Support implementation of Lean manufacturing and standard work Drive improvement projects that deliver measurable operational impact Assist with development of visual management tools and performance metrics Quality Systems & Documentation Maintain and improve quality system documentation consistent with ISO standards Support internal and external audits Ensure inspection plans and quality documentation remain current and accurate Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with engineering, production, tooling, and quality teams Support new product launches and process validations Provide training and coaching to operators on quality expectations and process control Key Performance Metrics Success in this role will be measured by: Reduction in scrap and rework rates Improvement in process capability and stability Closure rate and effectiveness of corrective actions Adherence to standard work and process documentation Improvement in internal audit results Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3-7 years experience in manufacturing quality or process improvement Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action systems Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work directly with production teams on the shop floor Preferred Experience in plastic injection molding or medical manufacturing Familiarity with

ISO 13485 / ISO 9001

quality systems Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training Experience implementing process improvements in a production environment
