Job Description
ISO 9001.
The Inspector will create and execute the processes required to ensure our products meet Customer quality requirements. The quality inspector will perform ongoing product and process evaluations, record inspection results and recommend improvements to the production process.Responsibilities:
Conduct receiving, in-process and final inspections of various composite aerospace parts Perform necessary material inspection upon receipt of composite raw material, and to extend life of such material if needed (Test Lab) along with Weekly Lab Testing requirements Part Marking (as needed) Perform Daily Particle (Dust) Counts Proficient in use and calibration of standard measurement devices Assist production personnel on quality concerns and best practices to ensure the highest quality part. Help resolve Quality related issues Responsible for quality documentation scanning to the network (Certs, Pack Lists, Travelers, etc.) daily Perform other related duties as requiredBasic Qualifications:
1-3 years of practical experience carrying out inspection for aerospace components Proficient in math and technical skills Ability to read and write in the English language Understanding of quality control standards and specifications Proficient in reading and use of detailed drawings, and all established processes including Customer Specifications to verify conformance to customer design requirements Preferred (but not mandatory)Skills and Experience:
Familiar with an ERP System AS in an Engineering field or equivalent experience 5+ years of aerospace inspection experience Experience working with composite part manufacturing Inspection and test experience with composite and/or molded components Practical experience working with quality management systems (AS9100, ISO9001, NADCAP)Additional Requirements:
Must be able to lift a min. of 25 lbs. unassisted Must be able to stand for extended periods - 8+ hours Must be able to work all shift hours, overtime and weekends as neededITAR Requirement:
