Quality Inspector

Purpose:

Inspect product quality, manufacturing processes and materials to ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and customer requirements in accordance with work instructions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Ability to use hand tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, etc.), Gages, Optical Tools, or Electronic Measuring Equipment. Checks first piece/set-up. Maintain inspection records and filing system per company policies and procedures. Maintain a clean, organized and FOD free workstation. Ability to work in an ISO environment. Ensure all inspection equipment is calibrated and in working condition. Provide hands on training to coworkers. Any other reasonable tasks necessary.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of

IPC-A-610

Experience with IATF16949, ISO13485, and

ISO 9001

is very helpful. Good communication skills in English are required. Read and understand blueprints and engineering documentation (e.g. schematics, assembly drawings, and component specifications) including industry workmanship standards.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10lbs. May be required to lift up to 25lbsa. Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach within arm's length, stoop, kneel and crouch. Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
