This role reports into KitPackers, LLC, an Ellsworth Corporation company located in Germantown, WI and is a 100% on-site role working out of our Germantown facility. This role oversees testing and inspection at various stages of production to ensure accurate and timely evaluation of a Business Unit(s) materials and products and supports Quality Lab staff in critical decision-making regarding product adjustments, deviations and recertifications. Responsibilities Assigns tasks to the Business Unit's Quality Lab Technicians to ensure accurate and timely evaluation of materials and products and to uphold existing 5S standards Leads the recertification process for raw materials, stock products, and customer-owned inventory Initiates in-process batch adjustments of mature formulated products to meet product performance specifications Authorizes internal product testing deviations and QA test sheet modifications for formulated and packaged products Trains Quality Lab Technicians in all aspects of established test methods, instrumentation, equipment, and data integrity Collaborates with manager(s) to develop Quality Lab team by evaluating employees' performance and competencies
