About The Opportunity Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products. Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production. Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or allinclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.  Supports implementation of company-wide and site Quality programs  Conducts and documents quality testing to meet required customer, company or industry specifications while complying with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and independent agency standards  Maintain quality test data files and runs quality related reports  Performs instrument verification, calibration, cleaning and maintenance, including basic equipment troubleshooting and repair  Inspects incoming materials, work in-process and finished goods to assure compliance to customer specifications  Administers quality incident resolution process including completion of root cause analyses, calculation of total cost of quality, implementation of corrective actions, and communication to key stakeholders  Addresses Quality concerns and operational improvement opportunities working with key stakeholders and implementing corrective actions  Participates in external/internal audit processes and supports site Quality representative responsible for executing any needed corrective action to address audit deficiencies  Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications Education & Experience  High School diploma required, Associate's degree desired  Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities  Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes  Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of workers, environment and site  Knowledge of the existing and planned approaches and methods for manufacturing products or product components  Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility  Knowledge of and experience with effectively managing changes to the production environment and process  Knowledge of and ability to identify a problem and use a disciplined approach to bringing that problem to a successful resolution Physical Requirements & Work Environment  Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office/lab setting  Frequent walking and standing required, lifting up to 25lbs All Menasha Packaging employees must conduct their work in a manner that complies with all legal standards and meets customer expectations. The expected salary range for this position is $22-$27/per hour. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and for a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic term life, AD&D, Short and Long term disability; EAP; 401(k) retirement savings plan; PTO and paid holidays.
