Day Shift (Monday-Thursday, four 10‑hour shifts)Wage:
$19.50 per hour Position Summary The Manufacturing Quality Technician plays a critical role in supporting product excellence and process reliability across multiple stages of production. This position is responsible for auditing, inspecting, and measuring products in real time, ensuring compliance with established quality standards. By organizing and reporting inspection results, the Quality Technician directly contributes to process improvements. General Qualifications Successful candidates will be highly organized, detail‑oriented, and respected by their peers. The role requires assertiveness, professionalism, and the ability to accept constructive feedback. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with basic computer proficiency. Candidates should demonstrate a collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous learning. Quality Assurance Skills Applicants must demonstrate solid mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as an understanding of basic statistics such as averages and percentages. Experience using inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, and other basic gauges is required. Familiarity with quality databases or inspection documentation systems is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Conduct real‑time measurements and inspections of parts during production Accurate document, record, and chart inspection results Coordinate necessary adjustments with manufacturing and production personnel Track and report scrap quantities and root causes to support quality improvement initiatives Record and communicate equipment downtime as part of ongoing process optimization Assist manufacturing team members when operational conditions allowSimilar remote jobs
