$80,000•$90,000 annually + bonus eligibility (up to 5%)

Full-Time Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead the overnight 2nd shift quality function in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role oversees a small team of 2-3 Quality team members and reports directly to the Quality Manager. The ideal candidate is a strong critical thinker, highly detail-oriented, and capable of operating independently with minimal oversight on shift. This is a key leadership position responsible for maintaining product quality, food safety compliance, and documentation accuracy in a highly regulated production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and lead a team of 2-3 Quality Control Technicians Review and approve production paperwork for finished goods release Initiate, document, and investigate quality holds and deviations Ensure all HACCP, SQF, CCP, and CQP requirements are consistently met Conduct internal audits and support audit readiness Oversee calibration schedules and verification of equipment Perform environmental monitoring and pre-operational inspections Ensure label compliance with regulatory and customer requirements Enforce GMPs, sanitation standards, and plant policies (including color coding) Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation (critical responsibility) Manage QA supply inventory and ordering as needed Support cross-functional communication between departments and shifts Assist Quality Assurance Manager with special projects and initiatives Ensure strong communication and handoff between shifts Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must have experience in the food manufacturing industry (required) Dairy experience preferred for candidates targeting higher compensation range 2-3+ years of experience leading or managing a quality team HACCP certification (required) Strong knowledge of SQF and/or other GFSI standards Proven ability to think critically and solve problems independently Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills (non-negotiable) Ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision on shift Strong communication and teamwork across departments and shifts Demonstrated job stability and strong tenure preferred Ability to work in cold environments Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
