Quick Lube Tech Estimated Weekly Pay:

SERVICE

TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Quick Lube Service Technician at Hanner Chevrolet, GMC you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Automotive maintenance and repair work such as lube oil and filter services, tire repairs and replacements, brake inspections and repairs, battery and charging system electronic checks and repairs, vehicle courtesy inspections, used vehicle multi-point inspections, wheel alignments, general maintenance and servicing of vehicles. Complete required GM training and ASE testing. Perform all duties and responsibilities as outline in the Quick Lube Technician job description. Maintain a positive attitude with strong team work at all time. Act in a professional manner suitable as to represent a quality organization with which you are employed, always and in every instance projecting an attitude of honesty, integrity, and respectfulness to management, staff and customers. Inspect vehicles and provide recommendations for maintenance and repair, including parts list needed to perform recommended services. Perform brake service, alignments, belts, hoses and flush services. Perform thorough Courtesy Inspections on all vehicles as requested.

SERVICE TECHNICIAN DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer a high school or equivalent diploma. Candidates must exhibit honesty and integrity, be hardworking, self-motivated, team oriented, have the ability to learn & adapt, possess and maintain a positive attitude at all times. They must possess knowledge and experience in automotive systems maintenance and repair, and the ability to use computer systems for information entry and retrieval. ASE certifications are a plus. Must possess a valid driver's license, in good standing.

SERVICE TECHNICIAN PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position. The ability to stand for 10 hours per day, 5 days a week.

The ability to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds. The ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
