About KohR Motorsports:
Founded in 2003 by Dean Martin, a former Ford SVT engineer, KohR Motorsports has built a reputation for precision engineering and championship-winning performance in professional racing series such as IMSA, SCCA, and NASA. Known for developing and maintaining top-performing Ford Mustangs and other high-performance race cars, the team is now growing its Race Program and seeking skilled technicians to join our elite crew.
Position Summary:
The Race Shop Technician supports our performance and race operations through expert diagnostics, assembly, maintenance, and repair of customer and team vehicles. You'll work closely with our engineers to deliver top-quality builds and ensure vehicles are track-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
Work on high-performance street and race vehicles. Mechanical and electrical experience to resolve issues and perform corrective work. Perform race-prep tasks and track-day setups. Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used. Ensure all work meets KohR's high standards of performance and safety. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant shop environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 5 years of advanced automotive mechanical experience, preferably in a performance or racing environment. Custom work on personal or customer vehicles a strong plus. Strong understanding of engines, drivetrains, suspension, and braking systems. Experience working with high-performance components, Ford Mustang platforms preferred. Attention to precision and detail; ability to follow engineering procedures. Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends for events. Must have complete set of tools and organized toolbox.

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
