Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career as a skilled professional in diagnostic imaging, supporting patient care through critical radiological procedures. This contract opportunity is designed for Radiologic Technologists or X-ray Techs proficient in imaging, seeking a dynamic environment with a focus on delivering accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
Schedule:
10-hour evening shifts
Hours:
11:30 AM - 9:30 PM, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays No weekend shifts required Some on-call responsibility: up to 2 shifts per month, if needed Holiday participation: Work coverage for approximately 75% of holidays
Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent State licensure in Radiologic Technology (if applicable) Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist or X-ray Tech strongly preferred Proficiency with imaging equipment and radiographic techniques Solid understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices Excellent communication and patient care skills Flexibility to participate in occasional on-call shifts and holiday rotations
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to clinical protocols and provider orders Effectively position and prepare patients to obtain optimal images Operate and maintain imaging and X-ray equipment in compliance with facility standards Adhere to strict safety regulations to minimize patient and staff exposure Document procedures and patient interactions accurately in electronic health records Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to support patient diagnoses and treatment planning
