Job Title:

Radiologic Technologist Job Overview:

Perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients Operate X-ray and other imaging equipment Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures Follow protocols to produce high-quality images

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process Position patients correctly and operate imaging equipment Process and analyze images to ensure quality and accuracy Maintain patient records and equipment Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection measures

Requirements:

Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field State licensure or certification as a radiologic technologist Knowledge of radiology procedures and equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a healthcare setting Advanced certification in a specialized area of radiology Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical records systems
