Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Play a key role in providing life-changing care in a dynamic healthcare environment, utilizing your skills in Radiation Therapy. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Radiation Therapist to contribute to a caring, patient-focused setting.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification and registration as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT). Thorough knowledge of radiation therapy practices and safety standards. Experience with planning and administering radiation treatments. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Compassionate approach, ensuring patient comfort and understanding throughout the treatment process. Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver precise radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist. Prepare and operate linear accelerators and related equipment. Verify treatment parameters and document patient information before each session. Monitor patients for reactions or side effects and report observations to the medical team. Educate patients and families on procedures and potential outcomes. Maintain accurate and thorough records of treatments administered.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time contract, with schedule details to be confirmed during the interview process.
