Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT) Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program Demonstrated experience in delivering external beam radiation therapy Solid understanding of treatment planning, patient positioning, and safety protocols Familiarity with oncology terminology and interdisciplinary care Excellent communication skills with the ability to support and guide patients throughout treatment

Primary Responsibilities:

Accurately deliver prescribed doses of radiation therapy under oncologist supervision Ensure correct patient identification, treatment site verification, and preparation for each session Operate and maintain complex radiation therapy equipment with strict adherence to safety standards Record and document all treatment parameters, patient responses, and notable observations Collaborate closely with medical physicists, dosimetrists, and other clinical staff Educate and reassure patients and families, maintaining professionalism and empathy
