Job Description

Salary Range:
$32.56 - $53.71 As Rhode Island's largest health system and private employer, Brown University Health is committed to clinical excellence and devoted to our mission of delivering health with care. Brown University Health Urgent Care and Walk-in Clinic is actively hiring Radiology Technologists for our Barrington and Middletown locations. Full-time opportunities available with three-day work weeks! 12-hour shifts and every other weekend required. Full benefits available. In this position you will perform a variety of technical radiographic procedures, apply prescribed radiation for radiologic diagnosis and perform clerical duties, along with some clinical tasks for which you will be trained on.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiographic exams using various equipment and anatomical positioning to produce optimum results and transfer the images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for physician review
  • Develop relationships with patients and provide explanations of radiologic examinations and other clinical tasks that you may have performed.
  • Answer phones and perform registration and checkout duties, including rooming patients and ensuring exam rooms are cleaned between each patient and set-up appropriately according to policy and procedures
Qualifications:
  • Completion of formal training in an AMA-approved accredited school of radiologic technology or equivalent
  • Current ARRT certification and licensed to work in the State of Rhode Island
