$23.83 - $33.45 per hour Job Details - We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Permanent Radiology Technologist to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled professional with a passion for providing high-quality patient care and a commitment to medical excellence. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to: 1. Performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and quality standards. 2. Ensuring the safety of patients by adhering to radiation safety measures and dose awareness. 3. Conducting portable radiography procedures and providing trauma/ED imaging support as needed. 4. Assisting in the operating room with imaging support and working collaboratively with the surgical team. 5. Utilizing basic computer skills to manage patient records and operate imaging machinery. 6. Performing quality assurance checks on radiology equipment and reporting any malfunctions or issues. 7. Communicating effectively with patients, explaining procedures, and providing comfort measures to ensure a positive patient experience. 8. Adhering to infection prevention guidelines and ensuring proper room turnover. 9. Maintaining current BLS (CPR) certification and applying these skills as necessary.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist. 2. Demonstrable experience in patient positioning and image acquisition. 3. Proven knowledge of radiation safety and dose awareness. 4. Experience in portable radiography and trauma/ED imaging support. 5. Basic computer proficiency. 6. Experience in performing quality assurance checks. 7. Excellent patient communication skills and a commitment to providing comfort measures. 8. Knowledge of infection prevention and room turnover basics. 9. Current BLS (CPR) certification.
