Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in imaging as an experienced Radiology Tech or X-ray Technologist to a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to patient care and safety. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals proficient in operating room procedures and who have experience working in Level 1 or 2 Trauma Hospital settings.
Schedule/Hours:
Five 8-hour shifts: 15:00-23:30 Every third weekend rotation, with matching hours (15:00-23:30) Call time required during assigned weekend rotation
Qualifications:
Proficiency in the operating room setting is essential Background in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Hospital environments ARRT certification and current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and ALARA principles Ability to perform a variety of imaging modalities, including portable and fluoroscopic procedures Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach with medical staff, radiologists, and ancillary departments Competent in utilizing hospital information systems and maintaining thorough documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Perform portable, fluoroscopy, and operating room radiology procedures as requested by physicians Deliver comprehensive patient education and ensure accurate, timely documentation for optimal patient care Maintain effective communication with referring physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with all radiation and procedural protocols Adhere to clinical principles and participate in incident reporting as per facility policies Collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment to achieve excellent service outcomes By joining this dedicated imaging team, you'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, trauma-informed hospital setting where your skills are valued and your contributions make a meaningful impact.
