How you'll contribute A Radiology Technologist who excels in this role: Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educate patient regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate. Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning the patient and repeating the procedure. Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities. What we're looking for Graduate or Registry Eligible Radiologic Technologist of an educational program in Radiologic Technology. Minimum Work Experience New Rad Tech Graduates considered. 6 months experience as Rad Tech

• Preferred for Evening, Night and Weekend Shifts.

Additional requirements include:

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certified. Registry Eligible Technologist must be registered within three (3) months of graduation. More about Highpoint Health
