Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic imaging procedures as a Radiologic Technologist. In this contract position, you'll be responsible for conducting X-ray examinations, utilizing advanced imaging equipment, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position; specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current ARRT certification or registry-eligible status. Applicable state licensure for radiologic technologists. Demonstrated competency in diagnostic X-ray procedures. Strong knowledge of imaging equipment operation and radiation safety practices. Effective communication skills with patients, colleagues, and physicians. Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment. Experience in clinical supervision is an asset.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physician specifications. Safely transfer and position patients for examinations, using proper techniques. Operate X-ray imaging equipment and maintain accuracy in image acquisition. Prepare, administer, and document contrast agents per radiologist direction. Evaluate image quality and submit necessary clinical information to radiologists for interpretation. Adhere to sterile techniques and infection prevention protocols. Maintain accurate records and manage department supplies responsibly. Communicate openly and clearly within the care team, providing patient education throughout procedures. Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff by following ALARA principles. Supervise and support student radiographers in a clinical setting as needed.
