Ranch Hand-Dirt Bike Camp Coach

We are a dirt bike camp for kids located in Burnet Country on 100 acres of ranch land. This position is mainly for ranch work but also can be part assistant coach for teaching dirt bike motorcycle riding to kids ages 8-14, boys and girls. We have filled our female positions and are currently needing to fill an adult male position.

Ranch task examples:

Help groom, build, water and maintain our dirt-bike tracks and trails Tractor work Facility Maintenance Help with Animal care as needed (small herd of cattle, horse, chickens) Motorcycle Mechanics if able Assisting Coach task examples Teach children ages 8-14 how to ride dirt bikes in small, structured groups along with staff Help campers go through our daily schedule which includes traditional camp activities as well as riding (i.e. swimming, playing, campfires, fireworks) We teach our staff how to ride if necessary, and how to teach campers. You only need to be able to ride a bicycle to learn. You do need to know how to perform ranch tasks, be comfortable using tools, tractor. Our Summer Camp Season 2026 is 6 individual weeks of camp, all of which are overnight sessions. Starts Monday 6/1/26 and ends Friday July 17. (July 4th week is an off-week, no work). Overnight stays are not required of all staff. Some choose to live on-site while others commute. We are a top notch facility with air-conditioned dining and sleeping quarters, pool, recreation center, barn and beautiful hill country.

Requirements:

Be able to start training upon hiring (part or full-week) with mandatory fulltime training week of May 25th) Be able to work all 6 weeks of camp Be able to pass a criminal background check (required by the State of Texas) Have some experience with ranch work/grounds work, tractor work, handyman jobs...we can teach some skills onsite Be at least 24 years of age or older Able to work outdoors in the Texas summer weather Meals and Lodging available for on-site residence.
