  • Full-time Bucks County Opportunity Council (BCOC) is seeking an energetic, dedicated and resourceful professional to be the new Rapid Rehousing Coach .
This social service role proactively assists low-income clients in Bucks County, with the highest level of barriers, to overcome obstacles, in order to achieve and maintain economic self-sufficiency.   • Assist clients in stabilizing their housing crises through mediation and conflict
  • resolution, administer financial assistance when appropriate, problem-solve obstacles, and make referrals to relevant community services, as appropriate.
Facilitate creation of individualized action plans to empower clients in achieving long-term housing stability. Maintain complete and accurate case records and client files, including HMIS and CTS data entry, while ensuring confidentiality. HMIS data must be entered within 5 business days. Foster client autonomy by equipping clients to evaluate options, advocate for their own needs, and take independent action. Maintain positive working relationships with non-profit partners, social service agencies, funders, and local government offices. Complete follow-up case management for 6 month period post program exit. Maintain a "housing first" perspective. Participate in annual training that relate to issues of homelessness, racism, poverty, TANF, or related topics impacting clients. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from four-year college/university; or one to two years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Exceptional communication skills, organizational skills and ability to collaborate effectively. Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
