Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Support positive student behavior and make a real difference as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working with schools near Manchester, CT. Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience working in educational settings, preferably with children or adolescents Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles Strong communication and collaboration skills A compassionate, patient approach and ability to connect with diverse student populations Ability to pass background checks as required by school environments
Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress and behavioral trends Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support consistent intervention strategies Provide one-on-one and small group support, promoting positive behavior and skill development Attend team meetings and staff trainings, contributing insights about student progress Adapt intervention techniques based on student needs, under guidance from clinical supervisors This role offers the chance to expand your professional skills while working in a supportive school environment.
