Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) ready for your next rewarding contract assignment? An exciting opportunity awaits in the Dalton, GA area and surrounding communities. This role is vital to supporting students in school settings, providing essential behavioral interventions and contributing to student success. As an RBT in this educational environment, you'll work directly with students and collaborate closely with educators, school psychologists, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts. This is a contract position ideal for committed professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and adolescents.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Active and current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Previous experience working as an RBT, especially within schools or pediatric populations Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and effective behavioral intervention strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and school staff Ability to adapt and respond to diverse student needs and environments Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 and small group ABA therapy and behavior interventions to students Collect data accurately and consistently on student progress and behaviors Implement individualized education and behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA Communicate proactively with supervising clinicians and school personnel Support a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students
